  2. make it possible to download dependancy build

    I suggest that it would be possible to download a build containing the JS classes the plugin is dependent on.
    so for example, if my plugin is dependent on Element, Fx.Tweem and Request.JSON, i can download a file that contains just them and their dependencies.
    i know this is probably quite hard, but it's gonna be ultra cool if this was possible

  3. remove unavailable/broken plugins (i.e. MooSlider)

    Someone needs to actively manage the plugin repository for valid and available plugins. For example, the MooSlider plugin isn't available for download (http://mootools.net/forge/p/mooslider). Kinda makes the idea for a "plugins repository" useless...

  5. Recommend similar plugins

    By measuring user-downloads and grouping the downloads, it should be possible to show similar plugins (since users tend to download multiple plugins to solve one problem). A approach with better results would be a i-use-this/watch-this implementation, but resultsets from downloads should be ok.

    I can help with the implementation, similar implementations I did brought awesome results on even small data sets (based on I-like-this voting)

  6. I can't add my repository

    http://github.com/aleho/mootools-xmlrpc stops with "Problems pulling/updating".

    I checked locally here and was able to clone it without problems. No page errors (firebug, etc)

    Consists of 2 parts:

    1) Simple: RSS feed for commits and tickets integrated into the plugin-site.

    2) Connected: Connect your github account to the forge and fork/watch a plugin-repository with one click in the forge UI.

  15. Alert dev that don't have github issues enabled

    Github "issues" is toggleable so repos may not have them. If a repo doesn't have them PluginsKit should let them know or else the "issues" link in the plugin repo is broken.

  16. Package parsing behaves differently for initial upload and later updates

    I only recently uploaded two packages to Forge. When I later tried the 'Update' button on their pages, I was given two error messages:

    1. In package.yml, I had author as 'Lee Goddard' but update required my Forge username of 'leegee'

    2. In my source .js, I had no trailing ellipsis ('...') in the YAML header, and had to add it.

  20. Complete rewrite of mootools forge.

    The project has not been updated in the last 2 years and its beginning to look like a dead project. I suggest a complete rewrite based on Zend Framework. Forge needs a road map and a team writing the code. I don't know if anyone of the mootools team is seeing this but this really needs to be done. Forge is beginning to create the image of mootools being a dead library
